Courtesy Package Delivery (CPD) was established in 1978 as a full-service freight transportation provider, with a focus on expediting. Over the years, business has grown to include a combination of expediting and logistics management. We serve the tri state area and specialize in on time, same day deliveries to many manufacturers and distributors in the automotive industry. We also specialize in comprehensive warehousing services to provide a full-service logistics operation to our customer.
Eddie Homsy, founder of Courtesy Package Delivery, started out by opening a cab car company in the metro Detroit area. After realizing a need for dependable package pickup and delivery, the cab cars went from transporting people, to boxes. With the success he was having, he hired drivers and bought cargo vans to keep up with demand.
Over the years, Courtesy Package Delivery was able to continue to grow and provide a reliable service to its many customers. With Eddie's unfortunate passing in 2002, Eddie's family took over running all operations. Growing over the years, CPD has been able to strive within the transportation industry due to its ability to change with the times and keep up with customer needs.

Today, Courtesy Package Delivery has a fleet of 15 vehicles and 25 trailers. CPD provides their customers with a reliable, safe and on time freight delivery service.
CPD is based out of Chesterfield Michigan, in Macomb County, and delivers freight throughout the Midwest, with most of their customers based out of Michigan. Courtesy Package Delivery also has a warehouse location in Richmond, MI.
